Our Favorites

If you're visiting Atlanta for the first time, we hope you'll get to explore some of our favorite places. Check out our Best of ATL categorized below by our favorite neighborhoods.

Decatur

The Heart of Dekalb County, there's a lot packed into the city square where hotel guests can visit some of the best restaurants, bars and shops in all of ATL

Decatur dining hotspots include Brush Sushi Izakya (Best of Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine), Iberian Pig (Tapas - bacon-wrapped dates, just do it), No. 246 (Classic, Italian-American from chef Ford Fry), Revival (Top chef Kevin Gillespie), White Bull (named one of the 75 Best Restaurants in Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine) and get the tastiest Oysters at Kimball House. Share the love – sip drinks at one and eat at another!
Shop browse-worthy storefronts. Look for apparel and shoes (Squash Blossom and Boutique Karma), gifts and home goods (Sq/Ft and Trinity), books (Little Shop of Stories) and more!
Like Boozy Brunch and Craft beer? We do. Try Leon's, The Brick Store Pub, and Sweet Melissa's.
Late-night adventures? Head to SOS Tiki Bar and Eddies Attic.

Oakhurst

Decatur's Supercool Southside Sweet Spot, Oakhurst, is home to our wedding venue and is slightly-off-the-beaten-path from the Decatur Square. The center park is surrounded by local favorites from pizza, tacos, pastries, coffee, brunch, our most fav plant shop (Lush Plant Co), cocktails, and brews.

Craving Mexican? Head to Matador Cantina or Mezcalito's Cantina. Pizza? Mojo Pizza n' Pub. Coffee? Kavarna

Link to drink local? Check out eclectic brewery Sceptre Brewing Arts and Steinbeck's Ale House and brunch and booze at our favs Universal Joint and Scout (located right next to The Solarium).
